Director of Finance Northern Michigan

Director of Finance Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in progressive finance or accounting roles.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a supervisory-level accounting position within a casino.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Great Plains, and General Ledger software or similar systems.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with guests, team members, and management.

  • Experience in developing and implementing internal controls.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and project deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data for operational assessments.
  • Proven track record of maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
