ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume emergency department. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, assessing and triaging patients, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care delivery.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Assess and prioritize patient needs in the emergency department.

    • \n

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

    • \n

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the Cerner documentation system.

    • \n

  • Participate in continuous professional development and education to enhance nursing skills.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency setting.

    • \n

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required prior to starting.

    • \n

  • NIHSS certification required within the first 90 days of hire.

    • \n

  • Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center preferred.
