About the role

Join the manufacturing team at Potter Global Technologies as an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist. You will assemble parts and components across our product lines, delivering consistent quality that meets industry specifications.

What a typical day looks like

  • Read and execute operation manuals and work instructions to assemble products with consistency.
  • Use hand and power tools—pliers, screwdrivers, box cutters, power tools—to build components; package finished parts into cartons and seal with automatic tape dispensers.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and partner with Quality Control to ensure compliance.
  • Champion safety practices to maintain a secure, hazard-free work area.
  • Support teammates, resolve minor conflicts proactively, and contribute to a collaborative culture.
  • Work with manufacturing leaders to incorporate feedback that improves performance and product quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and abilities

  • Comfort with repetitive movements of lightweight parts (up to 10 pounds per part).
  • Strong time management and a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Respectful, collaborative communication style.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions from an operation manual.
  • Move pallets of completed parts using a pallet jack.
  • Enter data accurately for operations that require computer inputs.
  • Willingness to rotate from job to job as needed.
  • Able to stand for an entire 10-hour shift with breaks; some areas offer both sitting and standing.
  • Work environment and physical demands

    This role is based in a warehouse / manufacturing environment where tools and parts are used to assemble products, including pliers, screwdrivers, box cutters, power tools, screws, and automatic tape dispensers.

    This position is largely a standing role. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

    Prior experience in a warehouse / manufacturing setting using tools to assemble small items is preferred.
