As the Head Chef, you will oversee food production, ensure food safety standards are met, and maintain high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
- Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Plan and create food menu within the brand identity.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety practices.
- Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency and implement improvements as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Head Chef or similar role within the restaurant industry (minimum 3 years)
- Experience in menu creation, inventory management, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and management.
- Compensation :
- Base salary of $70,000 with opportunities for quarterly bonuses based on food sales and performance.
