- Monday - Friday schedule with call and weekend rotation
- 7 - 10 OR cases per week, varies during TAVR weeks
- Early morning ICU rounds with surgeon collaboration
- First assist in cardiothoracic OR cases including CABG and valves
- Independent post-hospital patient visits in weekly clinic
- ICU duties include central lines, arterial lines and vent management
- Consults and surgical clinic assistance with new patients
