UX / UI Designer

A company is looking for a UX / UI Designer to support an ongoing Federal program.

Key Responsibilities

Design and conduct user research in compliance with design thinking methods

Convert research findings and user needs into actionable tasks and develop intuitive user interfaces

Collaborate with project stakeholders and maintain design files for developer handoff

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, or related discipline with 2-4 years of experience

Portfolio demonstrating research and UX / UI design skills

Experience with design software such as Sketch, InVision, or Adobe Design Suite

Knowledge of human computer interaction principles and responsive web design techniques

Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 for design handoff and knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG compliance
