ASAC is adding a full-time Prevention Specialist to provide services in Linn County. ASAC's prevention services team offers a variety of programs and activities to assist communities, schools, workplaces, and organizations to address substance abuse and gambling issues to help the individuals and families live healthier, safer lives.

Requirements :
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with experience in substance abuse service or related human services area. Incumbent must be willing to obtain the Prevention Specialist Certification from the Iowa Board of certification within 18 months of date of hire. Candidates with group facilitation and public speaking experience are preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass an extensive background check.
Salary and Benefits
ASAC offers competitive compensation. This role starts at 22.71 per hour with additional compensation provided for candidates with extensive experience.
