MBGT Associate Scientist I is dedicated to supporting select activities within the Agrigenomics Lab. Activities focus on sample preparation, DNA extraction, PCR set up, array genotyping, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and data analysis for both plant, animal, and human specimens.

Responsibilities and Duties

General :

Knowledge and ability to conduct specific processes related to testing in Agrigenomics lab that may include work in any of the following areas :

• Preparation of paperwork
• Sample preparation (leaf, seed, and animal samples)
• DNA Extraction
• General Lab cleaning
• Genotyping
