Job Title : Assembly Mechanic

Reports to : Shop Supervisor

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling Mammoth Overland trailers with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, an eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality, safe, and functional products.

Position Responsibilities :

Trailer Assembly (Mammoth Overland) in Woodinville, Washington

  • Assemble Mammoth Overland trailers, including frame, suspension, axles, electrical systems, and exterior components.
  • Follow assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure proper alignment and function of trailer systems.
  • Inspect parts and components for defects, ensuring they meet the required standards before installation.
  • Perform final quality checks on finished trailers, ensuring all systems are operational and meet customer requirements.

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations during assembly operations.
  • Conduct proper maintenance and care of tools and machinery used in assembly.
  • Maintain clean, organized workstations, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored

    • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with various hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with aircraft assembly, trailer manufacturing, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and report issues or improvements.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in assembly processes.

    • Education & Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical certification in mechanical, aerospace, or industrial technology is a plus.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in assembly mechanics, preferably in aerospace or trailer manufacturing.
  • Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel on a cement floor for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
