As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all occupants. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong and visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $26.81 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Monday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tuesday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wednesday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Saturday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sunday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, visitors, and authorized personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed patrol positions.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas for unusual or suspicious activity, and report findings according to site protocols.

Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining composure and professionalism in all situations.

Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency services when necessary, providing support and information as required.

Complete detailed reports and logs on incidents, activities, and observations during assigned shifts.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

Possess a handcuffing certification, baton certification, and / or CPR certification; these certifications are preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
