Customer Service Engineer - Denver, CO Metro area
Overview : Join Siemens Healthineers as a Customer Service Engineer III to service AX / XP Imaging Equipment in the Denver, CO area. You will perform technical, mainly pre-defined tasks to deliver service for customer equipment and support customers on-site and remotely.
Responsibilities
- Perform mainly pre-defined, technical tasks for defined service delivery work on customer equipment (e.g., basic commissioning of products and systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, maintenance jobs) on-site and remotely.
- Support customers remotely and onsite; provide 2nd and 3rd level user support when issues arise.
- Coordinate and complete defined service operations and / or resolve product issues for customer equipment.
- Generate sales leads for predefined service offers and contribute to planning activities.
- Adhere to defined processes and applicable regulations.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide operator training to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding revenue, expense, and inventory targets.
- Manage tool and test equipment expiration dates, avoid overdue calibration, and document usage in eFSR.
- Manage company assets (e.g., company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts).
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Mentor other Customer Service Engineers on competencies and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.5+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.Proficiency with tools and service test equipment; ability to work independently and within a team.Proficiency with network applications and tools (including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).Ability to read, install, troubleshoot schematics, diagrams, and functional descriptions.Valid driver's license with a good driving record; ability to drive day and night.Physical requirements : lifting up to 50 lbs; walking, climbing, bending, twisting, standing, etc.; good vision.Strong customer service and communication skills; excellent judgment in customer relations.Details
