2nd Shift – 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 00 PM
3rd Shift – 10 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM
About the Opportunity :
We’re hiring experienced Die Setters for a leading plastic injection molding manufacturer . This is a direct hire opportunity offering full benefits, long-term stability, and room for advancement.
You’ll train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd or 3rd shift once fully trained.
What You’ll Do :
Set up, install, and change over molds, dies, and tooling for injection molding machines.
Perform startup and shutdown procedures, ensuring molds are properly aligned and secured.
Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) to achieve optimal part quality.
Conduct first-piece inspections to verify dimensions and appearance meet standards.
Troubleshoot production issues related to mold performance or part quality.
Maintain accurate setup sheets and assist with continuous improvement activities.
Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
What We’re Looking For :
Experience : 3+ years as a Die Setter or Mold Technician in plastic injection molding.
Skills :
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic and mechanical mold functions.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
Familiar with RJG or scientific molding practices (preferred).
Education : High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
Other : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with attention to detail.
Must be willing to train on 1st shift before moving to assigned shift.
