Summary / Objective of Position :
The Innovation Center Manager oversees the operation and strategic development of the new maker space in the Diné College library, Tsaile campus. Responsibilities include managing daily activities and equipment, delivering workshops on maker space tools. Will also provide instruction on small business development and IP (patents, copyrights, and trademarks). A key duty is to secure funding to ensure sustainability and support possible expansion to other Diné College sites.

STUDENT ADVISING AND COACHING SUPPORT
Oversee all aspects of the maker space, including equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and ensuring a safe and productive environment for users.
Design, schedule, promote, and lead workshops for Diné College faculty, staff, students, and Navajo Nation community members.
Develop and execute a strategic plan for the center's growth, including identifying and pursuing new grant opportunities and other funding sources to ensure financial sustainability.
Act as a resource for the college community on intellectual property matters (patents, copyrights, and trademarks) and guide small business development, leveraging the maker space's resources.
Collaborate with various departments across Diné College to integrate the maker space into academic curricula and foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Maintain detailed records of center usage, workshop attendance, and grant funding activities.
