Full-time Registered Nurse in Home Health Care

LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Cozad, Nebraska.

Shift : 7am–7pm, every 3rd weekend, 2 holidays per year

Sign-On Bonus : $5,000

Join a compassionate and patient-centered healthcare team providing care to in-patients and Emergency Department patients. This role involves oversight, delegation, and coordination of total nursing care in alignment with organizational goals and values.

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Conduct comprehensive assessments for various patient types including Medical, Surgical, Obstetrical, Pediatric, ER, and Telemetry / Cardiac.

Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team members to manage patient care plans.

Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately.

Implement infection control practices including PPE usage.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with HIPAA.

Maintain a high level of customer service and contribute to a professional work environment.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Current RN license in Nebraska.

One year of full-time rural healthcare experience preferred.

Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred.

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Required within 2 years of employment

Visual acuity including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

Hospital setting with moderate noise levels.
