Salary range :
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation depending on specialty can range from $306,000 - $315,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and / or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description
The University of California, Irvine, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism, is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank in the area of Endocrinology.
The successful candidate will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic and inpatient consultation. Clinic responsibilities will mainly be at our outreach location(s) and inpatient work at our Orange, Irvine medical center campuses or possible other UCI community locations. The selected candidates will deliver high-quality training and teaching, provide clinical care to patients, and / or engage in research within the Division. Candidates who can move forward the educational, innovation and research goals of the division are invited to apply.
Criteria for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series : The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service.

Prior to the start of employment, an individual must possess the following qualifications :
(1) have an MD or equivalent
(2) be board certified or eligible in endocrinology or equivalent
(3) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of California
