Responsibilities and Duties
Provide acute and rehabilitative care for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systemsDeliver direct care to patients with stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, pressure ulcers, tubes, and incontinenceServe as an educator, consultant, and researcher for wound care practicesGuide optimal patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsCare for patients with complex and intractable wounds resulting from various causesSupport outreach, psychological, and spiritual services for patients and familiesAdditional Information
Must have a minimum of two years of Medical / Surgical nursing experienceRequired board certification : Wound CareMust hold a current DEA certificationExperience with inpatient wound care or long-term acute care requiredBenefits
