Administrative Assistant Sr
Under the direction of Dr. Dana Dolinoy, you will provide high-level, responsible administrative and research support for the Chair's research-related activities. This includes support for administrative responsibilities within NIH and other research grants and centers. In this position, you will provide general support by assisting with scheduling meetings, organizing events and retreats, organizing travel and schedules, as well as maintaining biosketches, CVs, and publication databases. In addition, you will assist in providing high-level administrative support for progress reports, no-cost extension requests, human subjects and animal research administration, and research presentations; the successful candidate will have strong skills in helping to create effective presentations and other forms of communication.
Within research, you will be responsible for helping the Chair and research team stay on track with research-related activities focused on toxicological and epidemiological studies and the impact of environmental exposures on health. In this role, you will support daily lab operations and research experiments, which are conducted with mouse models, stem cells, primary cell lines, immortalized cell lines, or human tissue samples. Serve as a point person for lab students and staff and help manage experimental plans and timelines. This is a 5 year term limited position.
