  • Facility Size : 130 licensed beds, 29-bed LDRP unit\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
  • Assignment Duration : 9 weeks (Start : 9 / 29 / 2025 – End : 12 / 3 / 2025)\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy Blue or hospital-issued\n
  • Free Parking \n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780 - $1910\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / Postpartum (LDRP) experience\n
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required\n
  • NCC-EFM or RNC-OB certification preferred\n
  • Proficient in all aspects of LDRP patient care, including circulating C-sections, newborn care (heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring), and lactation support\n
  • Willingness to float within the Charlotte region as needed\n
  • First-time travel nurses not accepted\n

    • \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients in a busy LDRP unit\n
  • Monitor and manage high-risk obstetric diagnoses, including postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), diabetes requiring insulin, PROM, and placenta previa\n
  • Assist with GYN surgical cases, such as hysterectomies\n
  • Circulate for C-sections and provide immediate newborn care\n
  • Perform newborn assessments : heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including OB Techs, CNAs, charge nurses, case managers, physicians, and lactation consultants\n
  • Utilize EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and GE Corometrics fetal monitors\n
  • Float to other facilities within the Charlotte area as required, within scope of practice\n
