Responsibilities
The Staff Attorney is responsible for providing legal services required to establish paternity and support orders and provide legal advice, counsel, and litigation services for the Nebraska child support program.Ensures proper legal representation in all child support matters related to paternity and support order establishment and enforcementNegotiates with opposing counsel, attends hearings, and performs other related actionsRecommends and reviews legal actionsDrafts, reviews, and signs legal documentsQualifications
A Juris Doctor degree and a current license to practice law in the state of Nebraska (or awaiting bar exam results).
