JOB REQUIREMENTS : Summary : Under the direction of the President, the Production Manager will oversee manufacturing operations in a food processing environment. Responsible for production yield, product quality, food safety, staffing, labor efficiency, raw material efficiency, employee safety, and facility management.

• Responsibilities :
• Forecast and develop weekly production schedules.
• Schedule personnel for each shift, considering line rotations, breaks, PTO, and leaves.
• Provide direction to supervisors, leads, and employees to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Ensure GMPs and food safety guidelines are followed.
• Manage inventories, production utilization, and yields for cost efficiency.
• Ensure safety and address unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain product quality and work with QA and USDA / FSIS inspectors.
• Meet or exceed production, throughput, and efficiency goals.
• Record downtime and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee sanitation, maintenance, organization, and safety of the facility.
• Manage shipping operations.
• Implement new practices and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and permits.
• Support hiring processes and project leadership for company growth.
