PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Healthcare (Pediatric Focus)\n\nLocation : Athens, GA\nPay Rate : $45 - $50 per hour\n\nJob Summary : \n\nWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN home healthcare role in Athens, GA. This position requires pediatric experience and the ability to provide high-quality, individualized care in a home setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, monitoring, and managing pediatric patients with medical complexities while supporting families and caregivers.\n\nResponsibilities : \n\nProvide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a home healthcare setting.\nAdminister medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.\nMonitor and assess vital signs, respiratory status, and overall health of the patient.\nPerform and manage G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support as needed.\nEducate and guide families and caregivers on pediatric care, emergency response, and safety measures.\nMaintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).\nCoordinate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.\nAdhere to infection control and patient safety standards in a home setting.\n\nQualifications : \n\nActive RN license in the state of Georgia.\nMinimum of 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience (home healthcare experience preferred).\nCurrent BLS / CPR certification (PALS preferred).\nExperience with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, seizure disorders, and G-tube feedings is a plus.\nStrong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and adapt to different home environments.\nMust have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling within the Athens, GA area.\n\nSchedule & Benefits : \n\nPRN / Flexible shifts – Days, nights, weekends available\nWork in a comfortable home setting with one-on-one patient interaction\nCompetitive pay of $45 - $50 per hour\nMileage reimbursement (if applicable)
