Key Responsibilities
Trauma Bay Presence : Active participation during trauma activationsPatient Evaluation : Comprehensive assessment of trauma patientsClinical Management : Ordering tests, consulting specialists, and arranging admissionsProcedural Skills : Performing chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, laceration repairs, I&Ds, and occasional intubationsContinuity of Care : Serving as a consistent presence on the teamTeam Communication : Coordinating care through various channelsDocumentation : Maintaining thorough patient recordsDischarge Planning : Working with case managers for smooth transitions of careFirst Assist : Surgical assistance when neededPractice Details
Role : Combined clinic and inpatient responsibilitiesSchedule : Full-time | Monday - Sunday | Four; ten-hour shifts per weekShifts : Day and mid-shift coverage (night coverage possibility in future)Location : Banner - University Medical Center Tucson | 1625 N.
