Senior level : PhD or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Experimental Physics, Optics or related field with 5+ years relevant research experience.

Extensive hands-on experience in the design, construction and maintenance of optical workbenches with laser sources.

Advanced Labview and Matlab programming experience.

Strong data acquisition and statistics skills and experience.

Strong understanding of optical theory in order to confidently troubleshoot and refine optical designs.

High precision optical alignments.

In addition to impeccable technical skills, successful candidates possess strong organizational, communication and team skills, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Additional experience in mechanical CAD, machine shop and opto-mechanical techniques.

Experience with acousto-optic deflectors / modulators / high precision optics

Signal to noise optimization (vibration isolation)
