job_description.job_card.job_descriptionGreet and reassure patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the procedure. Assist patients in positioning for the procedure, providing comfort and support throughout the process. Monitor patients' vital signs and well-being before, during, and after the procedure. Assist the physician in various pain management procedures, such as injections, nerve blocks, and minimally invasive interventions. Hand instruments and supplies to the physician during the procedure. Maintain a sterile field and ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times. Assist in transferring patients to a recovery area post-procedure and monitor their recovery progress. Provide post-procedure instructions and address any questions or concerns patients may have. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified medical assisting program preferred. Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred. Prior experience in a procedural or pain management setting is advantageous. Strong understanding of medical terminology and pain management procedures. Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies. Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records. Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing. Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician. Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures. Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. Greet and log in patients arriving at office or clinic. Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms. Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician. Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies. Change dressings on wounds. Schedule appointments for patients. Inventory and order medical, lab, or office supplies or equipment. Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests or admission. Operate x-ray, electrocardiogram (EKG), or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting physicians during pain management procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Preparation and Setup :
- Assist in preparing the procedure room, ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and medications are available and properly organized.
- Sterilize and arrange instruments according to established protocols.
- Verify patient identification, medical history, and consent forms prior to the procedure.
