Production Operations Senior Staff Member
You will be the Production Operations Senior Staff member for our THAAD Ground Production Operations team, based in Arlington, TX. Our team is responsible for the successful execution of transition to production projects, and we're looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our team.
As the Production Operations Senior Staff member, you will be responsible for all elements of THAAD Ground Production Operations at our manufacturing sites. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including PP&C, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Design Engineering, GSC, and Program Management, to ensure the successful execution of production projects. You will also be responsible for supporting all lifecycles of production, including development, production, and post-production.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Ensuring the successful execution of transition to production projects
- Providing oversight of cost, schedule, and quality of all production sites
- Supporting the Production Operations PMT process and execution of Program Excellence Plans
- Developing and implementing affordability initiatives
- Collaborating with multiple teams across the United States to ensure successful production operations
- Traveling regularly to production sites, including Camden, Lufkin, Huntsville, and Lexington
- Establishing critical schedule milestones and monitoring production schedules
- Assessing production risks and opportunities and developing solutions to support the production line
- Providing support to proposal development and program management estimates

Basic Qualifications :
Must have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance prior to startingBachelors degree from an accredited collegeMust have thorough knowledge of cost, schedule, quality, and safety in a production environmentExperience with transitioning programs from development to productionUnderstands Lean Six Sigma, Cause and Corrective Action, Design for Manufacturer AbilityDemonstrated experience collaborating with Program Management and all program functions to ensure all customer requirements are achieved within the appropriate business controlsSAP / MRP experienceDemonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentationsDesired Skills :
Production experience with UTIAMD Family of ProgramsExperience managing production risk mitigation activitiesProven ability to recognize potential production issues during design and development and performing production readiness assessmentsCAM / EVMS experienceSecurity Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
