About The Position

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS) to join our Diagnostic Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of general ultrasound experience and be comfortable working the overnight shift. This role requires commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform general diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

Operate ultrasound equipment and record anatomical, pathological, and / or physiological data for interpretation

Ensure patient comfort and safety while preparing for and undergoing procedures

Accurately document exam findings and maintain patient records

Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and functionality of ultrasound equipment

Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled

Report to work as scheduled, including during holidays, without exception

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

Education :

Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by ARDMS – Required

Experience :

Minimum 1 year of general ultrasound experience – Required

Certifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS) – Preferred

Required Skills :

Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting imaging results

Familiarity with ARDMS standards and compliance procedures

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in patient documentation

Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
