Join the team today and work at our Premiere Center, Etowah Landing Care & Rehabilitation Center which houses a 10 bed ventilator unit.

Responsibilities of our Respiratory Therapist include :

• Administration of respiratory care modalities / procedures upon the order of the physician in our Vent Unit.
• Carrying out respiratory care procedures as outlined within acceptable standards and practices.
• Walk-thru shift start / end clinical reports with on-coming respiratory personnel.
• Sharing / receiving relevant and vital information for the effective resident plan of care.
• Complying with Policy-Procedure regarding medical record documentation.
• Demonstrates the required clinical skills to ensure safe and effective respiratory care therapy.
• Ensuring timeliness of all treatments and ventilator clinical rounds surveillance.
• Provides timely, accurate and effective resident respiratory evaluations in response to care needs.
• Always maintains infection control practices inclusive of disposable supply changes.
• Timely transport of respiratory residents within Facility & OOB assistance as needed.
• Responding to continuous ventilator alarming within 15 second time interval.
• Present friendly and caring bedside manner to all residents.
