Location : On site at our closed-door pharmacy in Plymouth, MI
Salary : $130,000 yearly
Schedule : Monday - Friday – Rotating Shifts – No Weekends!
Week 1 : 10 : 00AM - 6 : 30PM | Week 2 : 2 : 00PM to 10 : 30PM

Key Responsibilities :
Process new patient referral prescriptions, including preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medicationsCollaborate with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians in preparation, dispensing, and client care activitiesMonitor clinical laboratory data and coordinate with physicians for antibiotic dosing adjustmentsEnsure compliance with USPguidelines for sterile compounding, including preparation, mixing, labeling, and packaging of IV medications
Maintain sterile compounding documentation in Simplifi797 or similar softwareOversee cleaning and maintenance of ISO 8, 7, and 5 cleanroom environmentsEnsure proper maintenance and certification of infusion pumps and IV-related equipmentWork with nurses, physicians, and facility staff to monitor and adjust IV therapiesConduct regular audits of IV emergency kits (OSS) and associated suppliesEnsure accurate and timely ordering of supplies from vendors while monitoring inventoryEnforce all company and departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with CMS, DEA, OSHA, HIPAA, and Medicare Part DParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and promptly address compliance concernsMust adhere to Remedi’s Code of Conduct, follow Remedi Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance OfficerQualifications / Requirements :
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institutionActive and unrestricted Pharmacist License in Michigan (or eligibility for licensure)Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including IV medication preparation and verificationExperience with sterile compounding procedures and USPstandards
Experience with pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing (e.g., vancomycin, aminoglycosides)Knowledge of IV antibiotic therapy, including stability, compatibility, and dosing adjustmentsThis position requires the ability to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally and / or lift, carry, push, or move objectsPosition requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time during shiftSkills + Abilities :
