We’re seeking a humble, hungry, smart, and proactive SEO Specialist to join our team remotely. This role reports to the Director of Content as part of a team of SEOs who collaborate with Editors, Copywriters, Designers, Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), Partnerships, Social, Video, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall strategy and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SEO strategies and tactics to drive organic traffic growth
- Conduct keyword and competitive analysis and perform audits to identify optimization opportunities, technical and on-page issues
- Collaborate with the Content team to develop an editorial content calendar that supports SEO goals and the marketing funnel
- Optimize website content, structure, metadata, and other elements to improve search engine rankings
- Collaborate with the Digital Media Specialist on content to attract high-quality backlinks and perform link-building campaigns
- Work with Content and Design teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented
- Monitor, analyze, and report on organic performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
- Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates and share knowledge with the SEO team and others
- Use AI per company guidelines to create efficiencies at scale, perform research, automate rote work, and improve analysis
- Coordinate with resource providers (Copywriters, Designers, etc.) in the execution of the SEO strategy
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of experience directly creating, managing, and executing SEO strategyExperience developing content strategies, either directing or in a collaborative roleProven ability to develop and drive a true SEO strategyExperience using AI tools to enhance SEO results, including tracking AI brand mentions and rankingsKnowledge of building links and experience with link-buildingExperience running technical audits, content audits, backlink profile reportsProven results with national organic campaigns; B2B and / or SaaS SEO experience a plusStrong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindsetStrong organizational and project management skillsCuriosity to spot anomalies, identify root causes, and replicate winning tacticsProficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and tools like Semrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog; experience working in WordPressWillingness to learn and understand the world of insurance and insurance marketingA humble, hungry, smart, and proactive attitudePerks

Compensation Range : $60k / yr – $80k / yr
