We are seeking a seasoned QA Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced tech services startup. Our company specializes in offering SaaS solutions, and we are on a quest to find a QA Engineer who can help us ensure the quality and functionality of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software QA, with a particular focus on SaaS platforms. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of passionate professionals, who are committed to creating innovative solutions that revolutionize our industry.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.
  • Reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts).
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.
  • Identifying, isolating, and tracking bugs throughout testing.
  • Identifying potential problems that users might encounter.
  • Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Conducting post-release / post-implementation testing.
  • Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Monitoring debugging process results.
  • Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and training users to implement solutions.
  • Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development and software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, especially Cypress.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience with API testing and Postman.
  • Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and ability to manage and document test cases.
  • Experience with performance and / or security testing is a plus.
