Seeking a licensed Specialty Pharmacist to manage prescription verification, dispensing, and fulfillment of complex therapies. The role ensures safe, accurate delivery of specialty medications and requires experience with EPS pharmacy software in a high-volume or mail-order environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Verify prescriptions for specialty medications for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and compliance.
- Perform final check of dispensed products, including label and packaging verification.
- Oversee fulfillment workflows and coordinate with pharmacy techs to ensure timely shipment.
- Utilize EPS software for prescription processing, documentation, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with REMS, payer requirements, and state / federal pharmacy laws.
- Collaborate with prescribers, patients, and internal teams to resolve clinical or logistical issues.
