Full-Time / Days

Overview :

Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications :

• Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• Experience : 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
• Licensure / Certifications : ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area. BLS Basic Life Support
• Other Skills & Knowledge :
• IV Insertion
• Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
• Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements :
• Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.
• Continual standing or walking.
• Adapt to stressful situations.
