Responsibilities Position is in an 11-bed Neuro Trauma ICU within a hospital setting Treats post-op back / neck surgery, trauma, DKA, sepsis, respiratory distress, and ETOH patients Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1 : 2 to 1 : 3 Uses Epic for charting Scheduled for 3x12 hour night shifts across all days of the week Weekend shifts and on-call coverage required as per unit needs Floating within scope or to similar units may be required Wear navy scrubs while on duty Role may cover post-operative and trauma care for neurocritical patients Modules and orientations are completed pre-start and on first day No blocked scheduling requests will be accepted A maximum of 10 RTO days approved per contract, with certain blackout periods where RTO is not permitted Applicants with prior UCHealth or affiliate employment within the last two years are not eligible Local candidates living less than 75 miles from the facility will have a lower pay rate Requirements Active CO or compact state RN license required Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 1 year ICU nursing experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619506.
