As a key member of our leadership team, you'll oversee a talented recreation staff, coordinate vibrant community events, and collaborate with local leaders to bring innovative programs to life. The Round Lake Area Park District is located in the northwest suburbs of Lake County, Illinois. We consist of five district communities, have over 60 parks sites, operate a nature museum, children's museum, outdoor aquatic facility, preschool, indoor soccer field, 18-hole golf course, and ample indoor recreation space.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor recreation staff to deliver exceptional programs and services.
• Plan and execute community-wide special events that bring people together.
• Collaborate with schools, organizations, and civic leaders to enhance community offerings.
• Manage multiple projects with precision, creativity, and a solutions-first mindset.
