Overview

Ariat Retail Merchandiser position is a one-time assignment consisting of a 4.5 hour visit per location. Visits run between September 15 and October 31, 2025 and must be completed by October 31, 2025. The hourly rate is $38 per hour with an additional travel incentive based on distance to the location. Some areas may have only one location available.

Job type : 1099 contract; employment details and onboarding are described below.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct store audits to report on merchandising, inventory, and competitive intelligence (4.5 hours per location).
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards for Ariat footwear and apparel in retail stores.
  • Audit and update marketing materials to align with current marketing campaigns.
  • Commit to and manage your own work schedule of store visits in your assigned market; all visits to be completed by October 31, 2025.
  • Complete store visit reports using the ThirdChannel mobile app to gather and submit competitive intelligence, high-quality photos, and thorough visit reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Passion for the Ariat apparel brand and the quality of Ariat products.
  • Experience in merchandising; apparel and footwear experience preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and work in a friendly, customer-focused manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and manage time autonomously.
  • Ability to install and navigate the ThirdChannel app; comfortable with technology.
  • Smart device with internet access (iOS 15.0+ or Android 10+).
  • Access to reliable transportation and willingness to cover a wide distance within the assigned territory.

    This is a 1099 contract position that provides supplemental income for passionate Ariat brand advocates. Pay starts at $22 / hour and can vary based on market and experience. Travel is compensated. Upon hire, there is a two-hour paid onboarding training, and work in stores begins on September 15, 2025.
