Bookkeeper

Growing NYC firm is currently seeking a bookkeeper. Our client's firm is a dynamic and growing organization based in New York City, offering a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily bookkeeping functions, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and payroll processing.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate and up-to-date financial data.

Requirements :

  • 4+ years of bookkeeping experience in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working with high-volume transactions or multiple entities.
