Mechanical Design Engineer : Work Location - In Person

Overview

We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Michigan City, IN. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that push the boundaries of mechanical design and engineering. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to validate design concepts.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Perform testing and analysis to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot design issues, providing effective solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for design processes, changes, and project progress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical design technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
