Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide 24 / 7 urological care in an inpatient setting
  • Call coverage on an ongoing basis, with Monday volumes typically higher following weekends
  • Collaborate with the surgical team and support staff for comprehensive patient care
  • Rounding duties may be shared with the APC, who assists with morning hospital rounds
  • Manage variable call volumes, depending on the day and specific needs

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certification : Eligible (Board certification not required for the assignment)
  • License : Must hold an active Minnesota license or be eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
  • Certifications Required :

    • ACLS : Required

  • BLS : Required
  • PALS : Not required
  • Temporary Privileges : Available for fast onboarding
  • Hospital Privileges : Not required

    • Facility and Practice Details :

  • EMR System : MediTech
  • Admissions : Yes, admissions are required
  • Rounding : Required, with support from an experienced APC
  • Stroke Certification : Yes, the facility is stroke certified
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 90 days
