The Village at Gleannloch Farms is recruiting for a hospitality focused Certified Medication Aide to join our team! Registration with Texas HHS CMA registry required. Status : Full-Time Shift : Monday - Friday (2pm-10pm) Salary : Starting at $17.00 per hour You Are Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will… Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. Give treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed. Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated. Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed. Answer signal lights promptly. Change bed linens, make beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly Works as a member of the team. Gets along well with co-workers. Accepts change in a positive manner. We Are Excited About You Because You… Registration with TX HHS CMA registry required. Successful completion from a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Successful completion of State approved Medicine Aide Course. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given. Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics Physical endurance Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression. Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
