OBGYN Hospitalist - San Jose, CaliforniaLocation : San Jose, CA â€" Silicon Valley RegionPosition Type : Full-Time, Permanent Overview : Seeking an experienced BC / BE OB-GYN Hospitalist to join their dynamic, 24 / 7 in-house team. This role provides comprehensive obstetrical care within a leading Regional Perinatal Center in the heart of Silicon Valley. Candidates must reside locally or be willing to relocate; locum, visa, and new graduate candidates are not being considered. Full-time, permanent position 24 / 7 in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage Weekend shifts included as part of regular coverage rotation Call : In-house, 24 / 7 availability for deliveries, triage, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage Clinical Responsibilities : Attend and manage deliveries and obstetric triage services Conduct patient evaluations and manage inpatient obstetric patients Assist in surgical procedures as needed Monitor fetal well-being continuously Provide ER coverage for OB-GYN patients Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and affiliated neonatologists Participate in community back-up call for gynecologic surgeries Level III NICU on-site Requirements : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (within 5 years of residency completion) Active California medical license (or willingness to obtain) DEA (must be obtained prior to start) OB Hospitalist experience required Not accepting J-1 or H-1B visa candidates Compensation and Benefits : Base Salary : $296,400 â€" $416,100 annually (with potential annual bonus) Health Insurance : Medical, Prescription Drugs, Dental, Vision, Teladoc Health Disability & Life Insurance : Short- and Long-Term Disability, Basic Life, Spouse / Child Life, AD&D HSA and FSA options Parental Leave and Sick Pay Bank Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Progyny Fertility Benefits Group Aflac Policies and Identity Theft Protection Employee Charitable Fund and Access Continuing Education Assistance and various discount programs Retirement : 401(k) Thrift and Profit-Sharing Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Paid Sick Leave : 40 hours (5 days) annually for full-time employees, prorated for new hires after 90 days Estimated pay range / amount is $254,949 to $473,886.
