Pay Structure : $10 - $15 / Hour, USD via wire transfer
About the Role :
This role is open only to independent contractors located in the Philippines. DHA CPAs is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Tax Accountant to join our remote team as a full-time independent contractor. The position will begin prior to 2025 year-end and includes a 90-day probationary period, after which performance and long-term fit will be evaluated.
As a Tax Accountant, you will focus primarily on preparing U.S. individual income tax returns (Form 1040 and applicable state returns), while supporting clients with compliance and planning needs. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a deadline-driven, cloud-based environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare U.S. individual income tax returns (Forms 1040 and / or 1041, and applicable state returns)Assist clients with tax planning, identifying deductions, credits, and incentivesMaintain accurate financial records to support filingsEnsure compliance with individual tax laws and stay current on changesCommunicate with clients, addressing questions and providing guidanceResearch tax law updates and adjust strategies as neededUse tax software and accounting tools to improve efficiencyUphold ethical standards, including confidentiality and conflict-of-interest policiesEducation & Qualifications
Professional or bachelors degree1-3 years of experience in US individual tax preparation (1040)Proficient in general accounting practicesFamiliarity with : Microsoft 365 (Excel) and tax softwarepreferably CCH Axcess or CCH EngagementExperience with QuickBooks Online, preferred (not essential)Desired Skills & Experience :

As a full-time independent contractor with DHA, you will receive contract-based resources and benefits consistent with our offshore contractor program.
Provided Upon Start (Day 1) :
