ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Longview, Texas.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Rotating weekends required with no call responsibilities

    • \n

  • Float to other units as needed

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 5 on a 25-bed unit

    • \n

  • No 48-hour option or block scheduling available

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted)

    • \n

  • 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required

    • \n

  • Any solid color scrubs acceptable

    • \n

  • Work with MEDHOST electronic medical record system

    • \n

  • Must live greater than 50 miles from the facility

    • \n

  • Start dates available : ASAP, 10 / 20, 11 / 3, 11 / 17, 12 / 1

    This healthcare facility features a 25-bed Progressive Care Unit that provides intermediate-level care for patients requiring more intensive monitoring than general medical floors but less than intensive care. The facility utilizes MEDHOST electronic medical record systems and maintains a structured approach to patient care with defined nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure quality outcomes.
