We are searching for a talented MRI Technologist

• $20,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)

Hours : 24 flex 40hrs

Shift : Day / Evening shift, 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm, 9 : 30am - 6 : 00pm with weekend, holiday and on call rotation

Location : Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee. Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within radiography and MR as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam / procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patients chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and / or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam / procedure. Select technical factors / parameters / sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of MR safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others and aware of the principles of ALARA. Assist physicians in performing procedures.

Qualifications

Compensation : Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $37.64 - USD $55.27 / Hr.
