Job Description

Operations Lead – Creative Technology Startup (On-site, New York City)

About the Job

We are looking for a high-performing Operations Lead to join a rapidly growing technology startup revolutionizing how creative teams manage, store, and share massive media files.

You’ll play a key role in building the operational backbone of the company — spanning marketing execution, event management, internal systems, and process automation.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in New York City , where you’ll work directly with the CEO to drive strategic and operational initiatives that accelerate growth.

What’s in it for you?

  • $130,000 – $150,000 annual salary
  • Competitive equity package
  • Full-time, on-site position (5 days per week) in New York City
  • Visa sponsorship available for exceptional candidates (no new H1B applications)
  • Direct access to company leadership — work alongside the CEO to influence company direction and strategy
  • High ownership from day one — take charge of initiatives across marketing, operations, and business processes
  • Fast-paced, transparent, and collaborative culture
  • Opportunity to shape the systems and workflows of a venture-backed startup from the ground up

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Plan and manage industry events and trade shows, including logistics, speaker coordination, and ROI analysis.
  • Coordinate PR and communications efforts — manage relationships with agencies and partners to secure speaking engagements, podcast appearances, and press features.
  • Create and manage marketing and sales collateral , collaborating with designers and freelancers to produce content and campaigns.
  • Oversee invoice management, budgeting, and light financial modeling to ensure efficient operational execution.
  • Support content production , working with the video team on customer stories and YouTube series.
  • Build internal tools and workflows using platforms such as Notion, Zapier, and n8n to streamline processes.
  • Manage business operations , including contracts, partnerships, and vendor coordination.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across growth, recruiting, and marketing functions.
  • Write and organize documentation — from internal process guides to client-facing materials.
  • What You’ll Need :

  • 1–4 years of experience in consulting, banking, corporate strategy, or operations at a high-growth tech company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or operationally focused discipline.
  • Proven experience in growth, go-to-market (GTM), or marketing operations functions.
  • Strong communication and writing skills , including the ability to produce executive-level collateral and presentations.
  • Data-driven mindset — comfortable with spreadsheets and analyzing key business metrics.
  • High level of initiative and ownership with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a willingness to take on hands-on tasks.
  • Must be based in NYC with the ability to work in the office daily.
  • What Will Set You Apart :

  • Background in consulting or startup operations with exposure to GTM strategy or event management.
  • Experience creating or managing automation workflows (Zapier, n8n, Slack bots).
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for technology, creative industries, and building scalable systems.
  • Ready to take ownership and help shape a cutting-edge creative technology company?

Join a transparent, high-energy team redefining how creative professionals store, collaborate, and create at scale.
