Responsibilities :
The Sales Engineer reports to the Manager, Sales and Engineering and supports both new and existing customers. This is an on-site role based in Addison, IL, with up to 30% travel - primarily throughout the Midwest, with occasional visits to accounts across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Identify and engage new business opportunities - Generate quoting activity from new or dormant accounts and convert opportunities into awarded programsManage programs from quote through launch - Ensure handoffs are smooth and projects remain on track, on time, and aligned with customer expectationsTranslate customer requirements into manufacturable concepts - Review prints and 3D CAD files to assess feasibility and provide input to engineering and toolingServe as the customer's primary point of contact - Build long-term relationships through responsiveness, technical support, and clear communicationCollaborate on quoting strategy and feasibility - Partner with quoting and engineering teams to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive proposalsSupport strategic growth efforts - Share market insights and customer feedback with leadership to influence targeting and business development effortsOur Ideal Sales Engineer Will :
