Overview :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Med Surg unit in Canton, GA. The ideal candidate will care for patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgery, including neurosurgery, neurology, ENT, and general surgery, with a range of acuity from ambulatory to bedridden.

Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive nursing care for Med Surg patients, including assessment, monitoring, and interventions.

Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Monitor and manage patients recovering from neurosurgery, neurology, ENT, and general surgical procedures.

Document care accurately in EMR and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience.

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Competency in caring for a diverse patient population, from ambulatory to total care dependent.

Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
