Keeping family members informed about the progress of the surgery by communicating with the surgical and recovery room teams.

Providing support and relaying updates from the medical team to the family members.

Offering clear explanations about the surgical process, expected waiting times, and post-operative care instructions.

Ensuring the waiting area remains a calm and supportive space for those waiting.

Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

Using a computer to input and retrieve information from the computer.

Answering and directing calls to the appropriate lines.
