Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an X-ray Technologist with ARRT registration and at least 1 year of radiology experience for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital radiology department performing X-ray imaging procedures
  • Shifts are 11 : 00 AM to 9 : 00 PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
  • Assignment is 13 weeks in length
  • Experience with both fluoroscopy and C-ARM procedures is required
  • Epic charting system is used and familiarity is preferred
  • Must possess strong proficiency in both general X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Flu vaccine is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from Boston; local pay differential applies
  • Parking may require use of public transportation or payment of daily rates
  • Scrub attire requirements will be provided upon assignment
  • Two professional references will be required for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Completion of a two-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Current, unencumbered MA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
  • Registration by the ARRT in radiology is required
  • Active BLS certification through AHA is required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience with hospital-based X-ray and advanced imaging procedures
