Description : We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive support to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our office. This role involves a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks, requiring a professional and adaptable individual who can manage multiple priorities and confidential information with discretion. Key Responsibilities : Office & Administrative Support : Answer and screen incoming phone calls and respond to emails and other correspondence. Manage and maintain calendars, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and conferences. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and digital filing systems. Prepare and edit various documents, including reports, presentations, memos, and correspondence. Assist with data entry and maintain accurate databases. Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment. Create work tickets to direct packaging division how items are to be packaged. Create all military labels for packaging and shipping. Input data into government databases. Review government contracts / work orders. Preferred Skills and Qualifications : High school diploma or GED; an associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus. Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, or in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask. Experience with QuickBooks / Paychex preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
