Overview

The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week) LPN to work at our UICC Obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN), Cedar Rapids . This position will mainly support our Cedar Rapids OBGYN Clinic but could float to other patient specialties / clinic locations including but not limited to : Specialty / Outreach, Family Medicine, and / or Pediatrics

Duties

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
• Current valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards

Percent of Time : 100% (40 hours per week)

Schedule : Variable hours, Monday through Friday, between 7 : 30 AM and 5 : 30 PM, with 8-hour shifts. Standard clinic hours are 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM. No weekends, on call time, or holidays required.

Location : Cedar Rapids, IA (or surround clinics based on clinical need or hours)

Pay Grade : 11

Salary : $44,557.92 - $66,377.52 ( based on years of experience )
